From Sky Sports...Martin Jol is keeping tight-lipped on reports Tottenham Hotspur have made bids to sign Ricardo Rocha and Gareth Bale.
Speculation in Portugal has claimed that Spurs are close to completing a £3.3million deal for centre-half Rocha.
But while Jol is aware of the defender, he is refusing to fuel any rumours and is sticking to his policy of staying quiet about his transfer targets.
"I know his name, he is a good player from Benfica," Jol told Sky Sports News.
"My fellow countryman Ronald Koeman was his coach, but that is the only thing.
"There are other players at Benfica that I can tell you about.
"We never talk about players, and if he comes in, or if other players come in, we will let you know."
There have been reports that a Premiership club have lodged a £10million bid for Southampton's teenage full-back Bale.
Spurs have been mooted as admirers of the Wales international, but Jol was not expanding on any interest in the 17-year-old.
He added: "That is the same thing. If we would have done, we wouldn't have told you.
"That is private and a thing you have to do privately in England.
"If a deal will be done, we will tell you."
