Young goalkeeper Jonathan Miles has joined League Two side Dagenham & Redbridge on loan until the end of the season.

Good loan for the 19 year old goalkeeper - providing he gets some games - League 2 is better than he might have hoped for as most GK#s first ;loan is in non league. Good luck to the guy, did well last season in Nexttgen Series and for u21's this season.

Guess Lawrencve Vigoroux will be GK for the rest of the u21 games

Is Archer classed as the bigger talent then SI?

In the Academy Archer was always no 1 - Miiles had problems to get a game and was given a 3rd Year Academy rather than a Pro contract (which Archer got), but last season Archer was on loan and Miles got the opportiunity at u 19 NextGen - and took it with both hands being a big part of the reason why Spurs did so well last year.

Edit :
IMO if Miles does well on loan, this opens the door to a season long loan at a League 2 club - unlikely but possible to a League 1 club.

Archer has done well at Wycome (league 2) and I am pretty sure he will definitely get a League 1 loan next season - and outisde chance of Championship.

So likelleihoood is that Archer will be a year ahead in terms of experienvce, although they are the same age.

Worthwhile remembering that other than Butland, I cannot recall any GK's other than Archer and Miles being on loan in the League 1/2/Championship/PL this year (or if there are its very few) so for Miles to be at a League 2 club its not a bad result at all.

Remeber the match vs Livepool in nextgen, Miles made some superb saves.

yup, did that in a few matches last season, definitely earned a feww wins which might have been draws or losses otherwise. Less visible this season, but for instance in the last u21 match away to WBA he made a couple of good saves before Spurs scored and ran away with the match.
