What a vile rumour, I'm going to have to go and lay down in a darkened room. This is the thing of nightmares.

he's not actually a bad player but Villa paid what, £12m for him? so they're going to want £20m plus with them all but relegated. Making him way over priced and not worth the likely asking price.

He's been Villa's only consistent performer this season, but I'd prefer to see how he does at Villa until the end of the season.

He'd make a good 3rd choice striker and give us depth. Hopefully he'll be available on the cheap when Villa go down.

If we're looking at 3rd choice I'd much rather just make a youth player like Harrison 3rd choice, or an out of position Chadli, Njie, Son, etc.

Harrison needs to see some game time before we can even start to consider whether he'll cut it. I'm not a fan of Chadli, N'Jie and Son, although talented... look like a rabbit in headlights in tight spaces. No doubting their talents but they're best suited as wide forwards and not as a lone striker.

I think all of them are better than Ayew tbh.

I dont think he's that bad a player, he's been villas best player this season (I know that's not saying much) and even when they're losing he's still running his arse off in the games I've seen of him, like he did against us, attempting to get them back in the game.

He cost villa around 8m and with 5 goals in 15 league games for an absolute shite side that's not too shabby, so I think they would want around the 12-15m mark.

I would take him, surprised so many are turning their noses up...

However Villa would want far too much for him.

They paid £12m for him and he's currently their only hope of staying up. They'll want £20m plus.

He is pretty good and he would do well here but there are better players out there for ~20m.
