They've just added condiments to the meal - i've no doubt we're tracking Pickford, as are probably a lot of clubs, but they needed more spice so tacked on a stock "X could leave if X doesn't happen" story that vaguely relates.

If this is true, what was the point of getting Pau Lopez on loan?

I really thought if we sold Lloris we would be looking at a holdover type with experience and have Pau as the primary backup next season. In this scenario Lloris and Vorm are both sold.

Have wanted this guy for a while now. Sadly I don't think he'd come as a number 2 now.

Imo Vorm would be that holdover type if Lloris does leave...

Pickford looks like a decent choice... But the only want I want to replace Lloris if he leaves would be Jasper Cillessen. Hopefully he gets tired of the barca bench. LoL.

So let me get this straight. Loris leaves and we bring in Pickford...?

For me, that would represent the worst case scenario followed by the best case scenario.

He is very good and is destined to become England's number one for many years to come. We should only go for him if Hugo is definately leaving though. I reckon Man City will throw the cash at him.
