Had a really good game today as a CM, him and Brannan fits each other well in midfield.
Those people who said that he’s not strong enough for the premier league are wrong, he’s so strong he really does look like a young Dembele. The opposition couldn’t take the back away from him
Shame they lost 2-0

And I know that the Championship is nowhere near Premier League level but we shouldn’t have loaned him out, we could really need him

We cannot judge Josh until he’s had a few games. Having said that...that was not a really good game at all. For one of their goals he just stood and watched his man run off him. Hope he can improve on that performance. If he doesn’t he won’t be with us next season. Is he really any better than Tom Carroll

Yes he should do better in the second goal but one bad thing and you’re saying he had a bad game?! Are you that dumb?
And btw the goalkeeper has to do better so not all Josh fault

It's really fucking annoying that Poch hasn't given him a proper chance in CM, while Dier continues his regression there, and question marks over the fitness of Dembele, Winks and Wanyama.

Yep we're going to have to spend 50million
to satisfy the demand for signings
to get someone who will take time to settle
in during which time
Josh could have been much more easily integrated.
Same as we have already done with KWP.
Both have shown that with astute coaching
they can step up.

A funny blind spot for someone
who has a reputation for getting youngsters
and our own to develop and take their places.

I do wonder that if dembele moved in the summer, onomah would have been kept with us. I think when dembele does go that onomah will be given a chance with us

I think Skipp will be more of a Dier replacement, Josh is not that player.
Maybe we are looking for next season, hopefully it will help him improve on his all round game, he has the talent just needs a bit more fire, and experience.

It's the same with backup strikers though really - Kane proved that sometimes even your academy lad who most think "won't make it in that league" is a better option than spending loads on established players. We still haven't learnt that.

Yep they used Onomah really poorly last year but looks as though Sheffield Wednesday are actually playing him in his proper position. Finally hurrah! :joyful::joyful:
