I'd love Josh to have a great season, but every goal they concede gives me a beaming smile at the thought of John Terry at the heart of it.

Imagine. You are terry and you have the choice of playing anywhere on the planet. You don't need money. You can afford the best education and healthcare for your family and you choose birmingham?

Anyone know the extent of the injury he picked up in the first half, which forced him off?

Good start to the loan for him, personally. It'll be interesting to see how this season plays out for him and Villa. On one hand you could see it being one full of turmoil, but on the other hand they have a talented squad for the Championship and it'd be nice to see him taste some general success and be a main contributor towards it.

It's good for him and others to be around the senior squad
but a little of that goes a long way
if they are not getting minutes on the pitch.
Though at one time I thought we'd never see Harry again.

He's got a shot now, until the new year, to convince Poch we don't need Barkley. Likewise Winks (and Edwards between them).

I think more realistically, to convince Poch that he should be the one to take over from Sissoko

looking more and more like a Dembele Jr

So desperate for him to make it with us. He looks like the natural heir to Dembele's throne. Hopefully he'll keep putting the performances in, and can come back or to a PL loan in January or even back into contention.
