I'd love for Onomah to come good at Spurs I just see the makings of a truly outstanding player. I wouldn't mind taking Grealish too he'd be more an Eriksen understudy.

Winks left him behind a couple of years ago and has progressed since, not sure Josh has advanced in that time.

in fairness to Winks he did leave Josh behind but coming through the development stages it was alway talked that Josh was the real beans... I'd love for Josh to come good with Winks both paired up in our midfield they actually complement each others game.

I would love Onomah to be given opportunity in midfield as would be ideal alongside a holder such as Dier / Wanyama as if he can match his youth team form he would be a really good catalyst from deep.

He was so highly rated and showed such ability it would really be a shame if he doesn't get the opportunity in his proper position.

I feel he could play well with Winks too as they are both different kinds of box to box midfielders.

Being one of those who is never able to watch our youngsters. Would they have played together in midfield whilst progressing through the ranks? If so, knowing each-other's game would be a bonus, I'd imagine ?

Danny Rose was struggling out on loan at Bristol City at the same age, accused of being lazy and uninterested. Onomah could easily play a season at a lower premier league club next season and be their best player. If he start the season in our midfield then I reckon he could be in the England squad In September. No limits to his talent.

Josh has gone to Sheffield Wednesday for the season on loan. Lets hope he gets regular football and can come back to Spurs next summer and kick on.

Shame. Thought he might get a run in the domestic Cups. Probably better he gets a regular run out though. Time to prove his worth.

This move is good for him imo, he will be the main man there, there's no Grealish type in his position there's a big opportunity to get 30-40 games under his belt and come back next pre-season a higher level.

This move will be what he makes of it. If he goes in with a positive attitude, the sky is the limit. If he sulks, then it could be a major step back and could set his career back significantly. He needs playing time and he won't get that at spurs this year without injuries. too much riding on the season. What i'm disappointed for him is not being in the line up for the first game at the new stadium (assuming it happens this season.) and that his practice sessions won't have nearly the talent to challenge him. (Slower pace of play). also disappointed he won't be there under the lights for the first game will be one of those unforgettable moments especially for someone so young. wish this kid nothing but the best. I dont think there has ever been any indication that he sulks, he asked for a loan move last season i believe?

He asked for another one, but management was going to loan him out one last time. If it doesn’t work, sadly he will be sold..

Hopefully it's one of those deals where we can bring him back in January and send him to a Premier League instead.
