Didn't know where else to put this but sounds promising. Different journo to that Falk guy but same publication I think.

Unclear however if its Bild Sport which is apparently v reliable. Or the sport section of Bild which is less so haha.

It doesn't matter when his missus works for Bild or at least did until very recently. If anyone is likely to get the inside track on what JN is thinking it will be them.

He's the best fit and the best coach we could get so would be a great start, HOWEVER we'd still need to hire a DofF who he can work well with and who aligns with his principles in terms of style of play and type of players he wants in his squad and if we get him I'd hope we sign him on a long-term contract and there is full commitment from both sides.

If not then I hope we get Slot instead.

We need commitment and a long-term project which everyone buys into now: new Manager, new DofF, new players and current players, the board, the fans etc.

Nagelsmann said he liked to watch Tottenham under Poch a few years back.

Seeing the feeling around the club at that time must be a factor of motivation for him to come here you'd think. As you'd want to recreate that.

Yeah there were reports that she left her job there when he was sacked at Bayern. Hell of a week for them!

But surely she'll still have contacts there.

Yep could be a good opportunity for him to really re-build us and re-build his career if it even needs re-building as Bayern look to have made a mistake in swapping JN for Tuchel in the short term at least.

Some managers fit well with some clubs, he was incredible for Leipzig who are a similar fit to us than Bayern who are ofc a juggernaut.

JN is young and hungry.

If it is to be him then fair play to him upping sticks and moving to London as that is a big move for him.

The beauty of Nagelsmann is that he can play 3atb and 4atb, he's very flexible tactically and his style of play is a high line, very aggressive and high possession and counter-pressing and pass and move, its exactly what we want to see.

Would be fascinating if it is him as to how he would want to re-shape the squad.

Also on man management, he was very well liked at Leipzig, Bayern is a different kettle of fish.

I feel like he'd suit our club quite well.

This all being said I think Slot as a personality would be better for us but tactically and in terms of quality of manager Nagelsmann is slightly better, pros and cons to both but both far far more suited to our club than any of Jose, Conte or Nuno were.

Some good articles:

I would really love him to be our next manager but i have Zero faith in Levy to get it done. Can't see him giving into JN demands and i feel Levy would rather a smaller reputation manager as he be easier to control.
