Wasn't there a story back then that Jol used to flog Stuart Pearce dodgy tracksuits when they both played for Coventry?

Loved bmj, that side our management built made us much of what we are today. It was a total revamp with Frank before Chelsea knicked him. Still love that guy, shaffted by the chairman in a unreal way which still sticks in my throat

I loved him too. Reality is though he took us as far as he could. I wish it had been handed differently though.

He used to talk how it was impossible to break the top four. If he didn’t believe it the players wouldn’t either.

There were rumours on another Spurs forum that it was former director Paul Kemsley who didn’t rate Jol and stabbed him in the back.

Kelmsley is the best mate of Mike Ashley and also made appearances on The Apprentice as one of the interviewers.

He stopped appearing on the show after becoming bankrupt.

Well, Paul Kemspley became some kind of director at Newcastle, and apparently Jol used an approach from Newcastle to land him in a better stand with DL. I still feel that Jol really laid the foundations for the team that Redknapp brought to a top 4 finish in 09/10.
