Might be a silly question but are you certain that it was Darren Anderton?

Absolutely 100% sure, he walked past me in Primark holding two coffee cups and then as I read the reply he was stood there doing a wee dance whilst holding his groin.

On another note, I've also previously seen Kaboul in Watford Shopping Centre as well as meeting Vorm at a restaurant.

Kaboul was really tall but surprisingly skinny whereas Vorm was the epitome of cool with his leather Paulo jacket on and shades.

To continue the shopping centre theme, I saw Brad Friedel at Stratford Westfield a few years ago.
Didn't approach him as he had his son with him but Brad was absolutely massive.

I saw walker there with his kid. He had the look of a child who had lost his mum at a supermarket, as @absolute bobbins brilliantly put it.

Flew back from Stansted to Belfast after an EL game in March 2016. Pat Jennings, my boyhood hero, was on the same flight so I followed him off the plane and spoke to him as I was leaving the airport. As everyone else says, "He's a true gentleman."

No fair. Not seen any spurs players other than during games/leaving games.

I did full on gawp at Stacey Slater from EastEnders at Fulham Broadway a few years ago, not remotely discreet either. Does that count?

I met Son and Wimmer at Nandos close to the training centre. It was after I did my stadium tour back in May so was a great way to say goodbye to the Lane . Got my photo with them, nice chaps.

Apparently the players go there a lot around 2-3pm is the best time.

Just add I also met Dave Beasant in Costco Reading yesterday. No doubt buying salad cream in bulk. Living the dream.

Spent the afternoon with him at a Legends day. (Was actually Redknaps first game for us v Bolton).

I Echo that. Such a fantastic fella. A true gentleman. We spent ages just talking about football.

I always remember him a story about Terry Neil who I actually knew quite well at the time. Can't for the life of me remember what the story was about but just remember Pat crying with laughter telling the story.

Final but greater claim to fame was having Tea with Bill Nicholson at his home. I used to drink with a man called Tom Grainger. He used to be part of the youth set up and then moved up to senior level. Not sure if he ever played 1st team. But after finishing football he opened up a ceramic tile shop in Muswell Hill. Anyway he used to still keep in contact with Bill Nicholson and pop in there in the odd occasion on way home from work. After months/years of pestering he finally offered to take me with him.

One of the most memorable days of my life. Spent about 2 hours with him talking about many things. His wife was there too fussing about making tea, serving cake like my Nan used to. Think her name was Grace but he used to call her a nickname I cannot remember.

Sad but nice thing was he was just like a normal old man. Small little house. But obviously still had is heart and soul in football.

A friend of mine got VIP tickets to Marvel's Universe Live at the O2 last year, while in the VIP room before it started, saw Walker and Vorm there with their kids, didn't want go and say hello as they were with their families so just stood back and smiled like a crazy person.
