Harry Winks gets his hair done at my mates salon and has done for years . Genuinely just a nice young lad that a non football fan wouldn't even assume was someone famous and has been brought up well and things haven't gone to his head. Last time he was a bit p'eed off though as he'd had his tyres slashed for the 3rd time that week.

We had Levy in one of our restaurants with his family and he still goes in from time to time.

I left them to their meal but did say thanks at the end for everything he has done for Spurs.

I met Eriksen once at a Drake concert, chased him out of the toilets, seemed a nice enough bloke, bit miserable, but to be honest I'd be too if someone chased me out of the toilets. Also saw him last year in Hampstead, he was in the car next to me nice Porsche 911, I honked and waved, he smiled and quickly rolled his windows up trying to avoid eye contact. (I'm not stalking him I swear).

Also, bumped into Walker at a J Cole concert, he was with Yedlin at the time again seemed nice enough.

Did Eriksen get to have a piss first?

I met Robbie Keane in Dubai, during the time he was playing for Villa. He was staying in the same hotel as me and holidaying with Alan Hutton and some other Villa player plus Wags......Top guy, took the time to take photo's with me and got my kids to join in too.

Saw him the following day at the bar and bought him a beer and he was sound, let me join him for the beer and just chatted about the holiday and things to do in Dubai.......absolute Ledge.

Irving Scholar cut me up outside the lane once, he was in a Rolls Royce & I was in a tiny old style mini. He was smoking a cigar & didn't see me (I think).

Also met Hodd a couple of times on flights out to Gibraltar. He's a lot taller than I imagined.

David Ginola winked at me at Ledley's testimonial.

Mine doesn't really count because it's related to being at a match.

Feb 2006 we beat Charlton 3-1 at The Lane. Me and three mates, all of us over from Belfast, waited at the car park exit like excited ten year olds after the game to see if we could catch a glimpse of some of our heroes. Jenas went past in a range Rover, stopped briefly and signed a few autographs for people. I said "nice goal today Jermaine" and he said "Thanks"...drove off. We saw Gary Mabbutt drive past smiling in a big green range rover, Ledley in a Bentley, Huddlestone in an Audi, and a few other players including Lee Barnard in his Ford Fiesta.

We kept waiting until it was dark. All other fans had left. It was now just the four of us. No sign of anyone else. We felt we'd done our best at squeezing out the last drops of a memorable day. We were about to leave for the train station when headlights appeared from the car park....barrier went up and a saloon car drove past slowly, a Mercedes I think. As we glimpsed in expecting to see an anonymous club employee we saw the car was being driven by a woman, a kid in the back....and Big Martin Jol in the passenger seat. As we realised and it dawned on us in a split second who it was we shouted "Martin!!", but obviously to no avail. He was tired after a long day, the last to leave, with his family, and probably just wanted to get home. The car was 100 yards past us and we started to make our way to the train again. Then, something happened. The car in the distance slowed and then pulled over to the side of the road, stopping. There was a short pause and a hand came out of the passenger window waving to us to come to the car! We sprinted up and there was Martin Jol with the window down, sitting in his club blazer and tie, smiling his big familiar grimace from ear to ear. He didn't get out of the car but we got photos and autographs. He was a really nice guy and wanted to know where we were from etc. Nice touch after a long day, he still had time to pull over to say hello to four fans, two of whom were on their first visit to WHL.

Such a top bloke Martin Jol.

I've only ever met Quinton Fortune from Spurs. Had more luck with Wimbledon players who used to live in the road off mine. Dean Holdsworth and Robbie Earle both lived a few gardens down from mine. I used to kick the football over the fence and then go and snoop in their gardens trying to get it back.

Saw Walker a couple weeks ago (drive past him regularly) as he lives in the neighborhood and always walks his dogs. Asked him if he was leaving us and his response was "we'll see what happens". You heard it here first.

I ‘carol sung’ outside both Jan Molby and Pat Nevin’s houses back in the late 80’s. Pat was really nice and came to the door with a huge glass of red wine in his hand.

Is that a quote from him or one of his dogs?

I saw Edgar Davids in a swanky cafe on Mothers Day a few years ago, I was with my mum and grandma though so couldn't really ditch them to go and talk footy.

Not Spurs, but Damien Duff used to live around the corner from me. In my old job he came in and bought a few bits one day when he was back home during the off season. I served him. Called him a Chelsea rent boy under my breath. He never came back in after that.

Actually, his brother was a massive dick. Used to always come out to play football in, and I shit you not, a full kit of whatever club Duff was playing for at the time. Socks and everything.

Also saw Shay Given on Grafton Street with his daughter, poor chap was mobbed and all he wanted to do was go shopping with his child. Everybody was stopping him for photos and his daughter was being shoved to the side. Felt very sorry for the two of them.

Still have that photo with him somewhere.

Fuck, I remember we nearly signed Damien Duff once, my work had SSN on in the staff room, and all my workmates were taking the piss because they knew I supported Spurs and that he'd be a terrible signing.

Joe Cole does his own concerts now? It's nice he's doing something where he doesn't sit on a bench most of the time now. :D

Pat Jennings in Stansted airport years ago. Said hello then spent 5 minutes subtlety walking past saying to the Mrs 'LOOK HOW BIG HIS HANDS ARE' 'They're in his pockets'. 'JUST WAIT...NOW LOOK'

Once he'd finished the beer you'd bought him did he then say "right, that's that then, fuck off now"?
