Was his old man even that good? Genuine question - I only really remember him from his time at Newcastle when I don’t really recall him being all that. I know he was older at that stage and he had a big reputation.

For me Raiola is a big enough reason to stay away from Kluivert. If we sign him and he becomes any good we will have a nightmare of him/Raiola forcing a move.

If that Ajax team had stayed together I honestly believe they would’ve dominated European football for years and been considered one of the greatest of all time, unfortunately money and the Bosman ruling meant they all got picked off

He was overrated in my opinion

Always thought he was lazy, one of those players with the talent we all wished we would have born with but played only when he could be arsed. Dutch Stan Collymore comes to mind

In one of the interview snippets it comes across as if he rejected us last season. Wasn't it along the lines of 'I did not want to go there'. This makes me think our chances to get him are limited. Which I'm not too bothered about. Think there are better options out there, as Hercules says.
