Not sure anyone is underestimating them. They are one of the elite European sides after all, but our last 3 PL results won't have gone unnoticed over there either. I feel that our game, and we will have to be at the very top of our game, can give them plenty of problems.

Can't wait for it.

The match thread before we play someone mediocre at home - doom and gloom.

The match thread before we play Juventus away - "we're going to smash them!".

Go figure.

These are the matches we've been slogging our collective bollocks off this past 15 years to get to play in.

Let's just fucking enjoy it! COYS!

Anyone who is in Turin, where are the spurs faithful meeting for beers. On a train from Milan now and just need to get organised for a few beers and some singing

I think a lot of the "we're going to smash 'em" chat is fairly tongue in cheek.

This is a European powerhouse who are in incredible form and playing at home where they are formidable. Anyone going in thinking we'll roll them over is fairly deluded.

But we have the team now to worry teams like Juventus. We did it to Real, and we did it to Dortmund, plus I'd say that United and Liverpool are on that level and we've done it to them as well this season.

So I think whilst we're still hugely the underdogs, we should go in with no fear. And if we can keep them within touching distance, we're a match for anyone at 'home'.

This is what I like now. Teams are looking at us and seeing the dangers we could potentially impose, especially with the increased notice of players like Eriksen and especially Kane, and then we also have Lucas Moura to implement still. I was even surprised by how wary and in some cases pessimistic some of their fans were whilst reading their forums.

The worst thing would be to concede early and to have it look like some sort of mismatch, really hope we can play to our potential.

Match: Champions League - Round of 16

When: 13th February at 1945 hrs

Where: Allianz Stadium

Referee: Felix Brych

Form: WWWWW (Juv) DWDWW (Tot) All Competitions

This is the first competitive meeting between us and Juventus

Juventus are unbeaten in their last 22 Champions League home games (W14 D8), their longest ever run without defeat in the competition on home soil. They have also kept nine clean sheets in their last 13 home games in the competition. They have lost only two of their last 19 CL games (v Real Madrid in last season's final and Barcelona in this season's group stages), winning 12 and drawing 5. However as per last season's CL, they have allowed the fewest shots on target - 2.3 per game. They have reached the final of the CL in 2 of the last 3 seasons. They have also lost the last 5 CL finals they have featured in

Meanwhile, we have reached the knockout stages of this competition for the 2nd time in 3 appearances after 2010 / 11. We have never progressed further than the quarter finals. We are one of 4 teams still unbeaten in this season's CL, alongside Barcelona, Besiktas and Liverpool. Among the 16 clubs left in this season's competition, we are the only side along with Shakhtar Donetsk yet to score from set-piece, all 15 of our goals have come from open play.

The referee sounds like a Bond baddy

Poch seems very excited about this game. It reminds me of how he was pre-Monaco last season. Lets hope the players aren't as passive as they were that night.

Id take 1-1.
Tough game and even 1-0 to Juve would be good result.
But I'd also like to win 4 -0 and kill the tie☺

If we play droughts whilst they're playing chess, we're toast.

Box clever, Poch.

Not too cocky, please.

It's only the first half.

why I love our team and players is because this is no longer a Jol/Redknapp team of 'we might win it'. No gun-ho unpredictability which surely would not work against this Juve team (disclaimer re Inter).

Tonight I feel like we are a CL team and will approach it in the same manner. Win Lose Draw it's the same as if, say, Athletico were going there. It's not a slam-dunk home win.

I also fancy our style vrs Juve than the other big boys, so bring it on. A good showing is all I ask
