When a player becomes a first-team regular at the age of 16 in professional football, regardless of what team or league he plays in, the talent is clearly there.

This is exactly what has happened to Kaan Kairinen, born in 1998, who is now one of the mainstays at FC Inter Turku, who finished fourth in the Veikkausliiga, Finland’s top tier of football.

Making his debut for the club soon after his 15th birthday in the final round of 2014 season, the youngster.

Making 18 starts for his team over the course of 26 appearances in 33 league games, the 16-year-old has attracted a lot of interest from European clubs, as he got three assists.

Capable of attacking as well as defending in midfielder, Tuttosport on Monday report that Tottenham have been interested in the player for quite some time, but Juventus have the upper hand.

Arriving yesterday for a trial at Vinovo, Juventus’ training centre, the young Finn is currently being observed by Fabio Grosso, and will stay at the Serie A club until Friday.

In the event of the trial going well, Juventus are said to be interested in taking the player on loan with an option to buy estimated to be worth around €2m.

While Tottenham are said to be top of the list of teams interested in the Finland U19 international, they will also be hoping the player decides not to sign a contract with the Serie A champions.

The youngster has already had a trial at Tottenham, back in December 2014.
