Ricky Sacks from The Last Word on Spurs Podcast says Harry Kane can win what he wants at Tottenham and it would be a shame if the striker tarnished his relationship with the club.

I've not clicked the link so it may expand a little more but my first thought of the advertised line above is that his reputation is already tarnished with fans / the club.

Whether he does stay (short or long term) or go, there will always be this situation in a lot of people's minds

Well yeah the lizard could've had two league cups and a champions League medal by now if he played better in those finals

'It would be a shame if he tarnished his reputation..........'

Bit late now. Plastic Harry has nailed his colours to Man City's mast.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

One of those articles that it's hard to even summon up the motivation to click on the link for.

I can't hate someone for wanting to better their career my, mind isn't built like that.

And unfortunately you don't win silverware at Tottenham and fan love is not going to fill your trophy cabinet.

I'm doubtful he can win a champions league and league titles with us.

City got to the final and lost as we did. But realistically are we going to get to another one any time soon? It felt like a once-in-a-lifetime thing to me, even on the night.

I don't like the idea of moving for trophies, seems a bit weak. But if that's where his head is at, so be it.

The only people who are bitter at him wanting to leave are those that didn’t appreciate the hard work and professionalism he’s shown since he was a teenager. He’s earned his right to leave. Petty of some fans to try to make him feel bad for wanting to win a trophy in his career. Especially when as one of the top strikers he could have left years ago.

Not true. Most seem to understand him wanting to move on but it's the way he's gone about it by bad mouthing the club his team mates and the owner. He hasn't earned his right to leave at all. He gets paid a huge amount of money for what he does and is halfway through a 6 year contract.

Spurs reaching a CL final was a once in a lifetime moment but yes agree will get there again soon because of their money and pull.
I have no problem with why Harry wants to go only the way he has gone about it, at 28 he will win a fair bit by the time he retires so why not go.
