Kane escapes punishment

Tottenham’s Harry Kane will face no punishment following an incident with Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta. Kane appeared to move his head towards Azpilicueta in the first-half of Tottenham’s 2-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge. Referee Andre Marriner did not take any action at the time and because it was included in his match report the Tottenham striker will face no further punishment.

Possibly a let-off, but made up for when he was booked along with David Luiz when doing absolutely nothing wrong near the end of the game. Luiz, however, kicked out at Kane and received a yellow card instead of what could, and possibly should, have been a red one. I have seen no mention of that in the media.

I wasn't creating a fuss. I simply think (personally) that it's surprising more wasn't made of it because, as far as I'm aware, players have previously been banned/punished just for showing intent.
