Had it not been for his wastefulness, he would have been out of sight with the golden boot. He should have had a hattrick yesterday, easily.

You can Homer Simpson me all you like. Doesn't mean it's not true. Even in the 2-2 against Liverpool we would have won if he'd been more effective, Arsenal - hattrick, yesterday - hattrick. And those were 100% certs, not half chances.

Whether it's true or not, it's a thread about him breaking a record. Why come in and start shitting on it?

How old are you? Bloody hell. The next time he scores he's gonna break it again, and again, and again.
He's a football player, not the Messiah. And he's been very wasteful with a lot of good work his team mates have done. That's just a plain fact.
Now I'm happy with him breaking records, but he only raises the bar for himself. He has to be able to deliver on that raised standard.

All strikers miss chances but the greater one's like Harry create and finish more over a season. Some days everything go in others nothing goes in. Thats football. However the misses are soon forgotten when they slot away the winner. How many times has he done that for us. Let us enjoy him breaking records. When will we have another striker who will break as many?

I agree with everything you say. However, the double standards regarding Harry are sickening. When Eriksen has a weaker game, not to mention young Harry Winks after Rochdale, all hell breaks loose. But when Harry misses SITTER AFTER SITTER, we hear everything is fine, because he broke a record.

Think about this. We have tough CL games coming up. He will not have 4 100% chances in those. He may have one or two. With a conversion rate like that, we will be in trouble. Look at Juventus. That header that Buffon "saved" was hit directly at him. And he had loads of time to compose himself.

I also hate the "argument" of "Yeah, he's crap, let's sell him". Is this a forum, where we exchange opinions or an adoration club where we can ONLY express our delight at the glorious Harry Kane.

I know us Spurs fans have an inferiority complex. That we finally have a world class striker and of our own making. Let's not jinx it. But because he is world class, the best striker in the world in 2017, we can DEMAND he puts away the SITTERS that others create for him. That is what he is paid to do.
