I know. We really should be winning every single game. If we learnt from our mistakes, we should be winning the title (and the CL) every year. (y)

That's why we dont ;)

We shouldnt be winning every game but we also shouldnt be spouting shite like they have learned from the cup game or it will do them good. It wont, it never has and it never will. I could post a lot of games that weve had headlines like the players have learned, or they know they need to do better etc etc. Next game, they will draw against some shit side. Heard it all before, dont need to keep hearing it. Just stfu and play the game.

The real issue is the lack of depth in the analysis by the reporter in question. The English media just wants a quick sound bite, click bait being the easy term, but even before blogs and on line sites it was ever thus.

What you need is a journalist to than ask, what have you learned, and follow up with another question, when did you learn it, and then why did it take until Newport County in the FA Cup in January for you to learn it?

Every Spurs fan knew it was going to be a tricky game on Sunday. The older the fan, the more a loss/upset was believed to be possible. Teams have trends, coaches have trends and if not addressed performances like Sunday will continue to happen.

The follow up question to the sound bite is really what needs to be asked.
