“There are certainly no panic buttons being pushed because we know this team is good enough to be challenging at the other end of the table and the mood in the camp is one of determination to prove the doubters wrong. The trouble is, when you’re at a big club like ours, people like to jump on the bandwagon when results are not going well. Like the media, for example. But I’m used to it now, it comes with the territory. You get hardened to the criticism.
“The important thing for me is that we are still creating chances, even if we haven’t picked up the points we would have liked. If we hadn’t been doing that, it would have been more of a concern, but the chances have been there. It’s only a matter of time before we turn things around.”

I do love this man

He is the only one that always looks like he gives a shit. Even when he has a stinker he tries, shame that can't be said for the rest of the squad.

Our players talk a good game. I've now heard Keane, Robbo, JJ, Daws, Kaboul, Bent mutter the same things.

Little less conversation.

I'd rather he yells out "Fucking pick that out of the net" as he sticks the ball into the back of the Blackburn goal for the third time this Sunday.

You can add Bale, Kaboul and now Zoko.

DIDIER ZOKORA is convinced he and his Spurs team-mates have seven days to save Martin Jol’s job with three home matches in a row.

The midfielder insists Jol has lost some of his "confidence" after learning earlier this season, via the media, that the White Hart Lane board were keen to replace him despite back-to-back fifth-place finishes in the Premier League.

Zokora, whose team lost 3-1 at Newcastle on Monday, said: "We've got to turn things around for the fans and for the manager. I don’t know why we are conceding so many goals at the moment, but we will put it right.

"The players are totally behind Martin Jol. He is a good man and good coach. Maybe his confidence has gone a little, but he is still a top, top manager.

"We know the way football works, but we now have three home games in a row against Getafe, Blackburn and Blackpool and after three wins everything will look a lot better.

"We have to get those victories because the manager needs it and we, the players, are desperate to start winning again."

Last season we weer always up for chasing a lost cause. In fact we usually played better when we went behind first . But now we have a few players putting the effort in and the rest just aren't. Getafe, Blackburn, Blackpool has to be win, win, win! COYS!!!

Keane for the golden boot (we'll need it the way we're defending!)
