He'd want to start every game and with Kane you can't give him the assurances.

That's may be true, but it would be up to Poch to convince him that he would be integral to our squad rotation and, more importantly imo, develop him into a world class striker. The club cannot expect Kane to carry on just churning out top performances week in week out for years without him breaking down, he must be rested regularly. Obviously it would take time for Iheanacho to bed into the system, but i truly believe at this stage of his career, Spurs would be his best option.

We do have 2 strikers you know, maybe Iheanacho doesn't want to come to Spurs knowing that he'd be fighting it out with Janssen for minutes, he might as well stay at City in that case.

Guardiola also made it very clear that he loves him and wants him back so they've insisted on a buy back clause. He was never an option for us

He'll be playing week in week out for Leicester and ultimately at his age that's what he needs, consistent playing time.

Not sure it'd be much of a fight tbh. Iheanacho offers so much more than Janssen.

Maybe so but pointless purchasing Kelechi him if we invested time and money in Janssen, the move doesn't make sense from anyone's point of view.

Bit weird this. He's already proven himself at this level so why not put a bit more trust in him to get even better in the City side.

I think PG, quite rightly, assumes he doesn't have the time to bed in a youngster when he can but the finished article. It's basically a glorified loan where they can get a player ready to start for them in a year or two without having to do any of the work themselves

I really like this player he is a pure goal scorer.

He could play with Kane in certain games plus rotate and be a good option from the bench...with the number of games to play there' enough playing time.

However I can also see Janssen improving this season after bedding in but if Poch felt to move him on then Iheanacho is my preferred choice also we have Son who can play upfront so we are really covered there.

If he is worried about fighting for minutes with Janssen, he'll be justified in giving up the game

My view too. I cannot believe that he is going to Leicester for £20m to win sweet fa. What are we up to if we cannot find a place in our squad for a player of his qualities. You are not telling me that Leicester can offer him m,ore money and opportunity of winning something than the Mighty Spurs. If they let this player go to Leicester then Levy better have a "Bangin" alternative:mad:

You've completely ignored the fact that City refused to sell him without a buy back clause, something we would be utterly mad to agree to.

Shows how naive we were to let Walker go without looking to include KI and/or signing a bloody replacement before letting him go. City have said they won't sell him to a rival yet we did exactly that.
