They brought in Clinton Njie and Heung-Min Son, who can both play a forward role, but because of their failure to land Saido Berahino I still feel they are a striker light. But with the new stadium underway, Tottenham have had to start living within their means more - they’ve got big bills to pay."

As much as i hate the guy, you cannot argue with that.

As soon as he's settled he will get ahead of Walker in the team

I disagree, our transfer policy hasn't changed at all regardless of our stadium plans. We clearly wanted Berahino and offered big money and that was after all the other signings we made.

get the guy up to speed with our formation and our way of playing then bring him in slowly, it's how poch rolls.

I hate to agree with someone from the scum but I would have been playing Trippier. If his arrival makes Walker sort himself out so much the better but he'd be my first choice.

I think long term Trippier will be number 1 because I can't see any improvement from Walker. At the moment Walker is in until an opening occurs.

Coming from the closest version of a Neanderthal man alive today I would take anything he says with a pinch of salt.

I don't want to defend Keown but we have a habit of buying players like women buy shoes and then only wearing them once or twice.
Nice one lol.
I had to put my foot down with my mrs and make her throw about twenty pairs out.
I was worried I may open shoe cupboard door one day and be buried alive in an avalanche of shoes.
Wtf is that about??
I remember reading something about it when I was little in my 'Unexplained' magazine ;)

I think its quite clear, he thinks that Trippier is a superior player to Walker and is wondering why he isn't playng. I agree, why isn't he playing?
I'd love to see a 4.4.2 with Trippier at RB and Walker at RM with Dier and Erikson in the middle and Kane + 1 upfront.

Our spending is restricted by the new stadium! My God, they are so perceptive these former goons. All hail to the genius. Next he will tell us that grass is green.
