Gomez really took a battering in that opening round, this can't go on past 4

Yeah, i tend to not watch the heavy-weights and up, they're just slow, dull as fook slug-fests, this is good stuff. Gomez looks like he might have burnt himself out in that second round, and that cut will only get worse, so we'll see how it goes - don't see this having more than a couple more rounds left in it though, at this rate, whichever way it goes... and i say that and Gomez digs him one in the side.

How much has Khan worked on them combinations since his last fight? He's really stepping in for that second shot now, a lot less ineffective jabbing going on than last time out.

Khan looks in really great shape too, but Gomez has really shook him up, just depends on how he holds out as the rounds go on - commentator says not gone past 6 rounds for a while, so this'll be interesting...

it was un-real, couldn't belive the number of punches he could get off, and they looked to have some power behind them as well.

Diffrent type of fight from Khan as well, got brought in close.

It was a shame it got stopped, but Gomes could only take so many head shots, even if he could take them.

Latest talk is that Khan may fight Manny Pacquaio at some stage next year. It would be a big fight - but looking at the state Pacquaio left David Diaz in last night and the way Khan got caught by Gomez it's probably a fight Khan should stay well clear of. For the time being anyway.

Wow that would be some fight. Khan is not ready for that yet he has a lot of work to do. In the Gomez fight he showed that his inside work is not good he has to work on that.
