I was at Celtic for the Ronseborg game. Celtic were poor that night and Tierney was equally poor. Never looked particuarly good on the ball - didn't seem to appreciate or use the acres of space out wide and defensively he never stood out at all.

A I say Celtic were poor that night and perhaps a little short fitness wise but I wouldn't on that showing touch him with a barge pole

Bit sceptical about the level of the Scottish league since we signed Alan Hutton (who was very highly rated at that time and turned out very 'average' for us). Not comparing Tierney to Hutton at all, haven't seen Tierney play. Just a general remark.

I actually thought Hutton could have been a top player if his focus was better. Had other issues which derailed his career somewhat.

Totally agree, I thought he looked good when he first came, he just lacked a winning mentality.

This lad looks really good from the youtube scouting I've done. If he can live up to the hype of the video's id sign him...

I maybe wrong as you all disagreed but i watch a lot of Scottish football and a lot of my mates are Celtic fans and he wouldn't stand out like Rose would. Fair if you disagree but its my opinion. Would much rather RS (i know this ain't the argument) with a higher potential

The quality of the top Scottish league is no worse than the Championship, Celtic would walk the championship and Aberdeen would probably be pushing for automatic promotion too... there's a clamour for Ryan Sessegnon and Tierney is arguably playing at a higher level, especially with his champions league football

Peter Lawwell will always sell, as much as I dislike Celtic this kid looks a better prospect than Hutton, who was literally outstanding at Rangers, if hadn't a been a pisshead,i reckon,10-15 Million will do it.

Shouldn't even dignify this with a response but you're talking absolute rubbish, sure there are a few dodgy teams but Scottish Football contains 5 teams far bigger than some of the clubs that have recently been in the Premier League. Aberdeen have knocked out teams such as Rijeka and Groningen in Europe yet West Ham couldn't even past a team from Romania... The only reason Scottish football is supposedly rubbish is because it's constantly panned by ignorant people like yourself
