He's under a long-term contract at Celtic, and they won't listen to anything below £30m.

Tierney loves Celtic to bits, it's like Kane with us. He's not one who'd ever threaten a strike or try to force a move. He'll only leave when someone is willing to pay such huge money that it's worth it to Celtic and go with their blessing.

Kieran Tierney is definitely leaving Celtic. Destination unknown. Several Celtic ITK's have been informed by the club.

I'm shocked they are letting him go & even more shocked at how little they're asking for him. Massive talent

Yet we were told they wanted a ridiculous sum for him? £25m isn’t outrageous by any stretch of the imagination. If Rose stays and regains his fitness, him and Tierney would be excellent for left back/wing back. We need like for like players.

I'd love him here, loads of my mates are Celtic & I see a lot of their matches, he's always their player that stands out

Cant see him pushing to leave now with 10 In a row around the corner and having just signed a 6 year deal Celtic also don't need to sell have made massive profits with champions league this past few years. IMO would take a deal closer to 40-50 million with 25 up front to get him. would say the roomers is just media trying to unsettle Celtic ahead of the season

What gives you the idea we ever are an option?

I don't know if we are, but the report states Celtic have other options than Everton. So I'm hoping. Or maybe Everton have other options than Tierney. Not sure how to take it.

Doesn't look like Davies is going anywhere though

If Rose and Davies both stay, it's not really a priority position (Rose would be starting in the WC if not for injuries) so I don't really care if this works out or not relative to other positions I think need strengthening. Plus, Tierney is born and bred Celtic and would be hard to pry him away.

That being said, this would be neat if it came off. If for nothing other than the pleasing symmetry of having two Kierans on the flanks.

I take it you haven't seen too much of him? He's a brilliant player.
I have actually watched him quite a bit I just rate Davies over all game ahead of his. I think he will be a fine player but I don't happen to think he is an overall upgrade on Davies. I'd rather we invested in other areas of the pitch and keep some form of consistency in the defence. If Dembele and Toby leave we are breaking up a big part of our unit. I'd rather not change for the sake of it. CB, CM and probably a decent back up striker have to be the priorities (assuming Toby and Mousa go.)

Regarding the quote about Alan Hutton. On the surface not a great remark but when we signed Hutton he was equally rated. I don't for a second think Tierney will go the way of Hutton but it's a good early career comparison.
