King or Berbatov : Who is more important to Tottenham

Between Ledley King and Dimitar Berbatov who is the more important player to us.

It is plain to see that without King we really struggle at the back but that is currently compensated by Berbatov's excellent play up front, close call IMO.

There's my two-penneth. Used to be King but Berba is just world-class and creates so many chances for us. Even when we have a very industrial midfield like Zokora and Tainio in there. That's when we need Berba to create something out of nothing and he obliges.

That said we do miss Ledders' class and calming influence at the back. But Dawson is really coming on and TG's been solid. Just needs to stop pulling shirts so much.

We also need Azza in there, to give us that something different. A bit of pace to stretch their defence.

Amazing how quickly we forget how important King is for us. If he’d have been playing throughout the season I’m convinced we’d be challenging for the top 4.

Berbie has been fantastic and the star of this season for me, and recently has inspired us to victories in games we may not have won without him, but I still feel King is the more important player for us. He’s our captain and our leader.

However, it has to be said that, to me, Berbaking is a hybrid of Ledly and Dimitar. Can score goals while defending.

Has to be Berbatov. We did miss King but Dawson/Gardener and Rocha have been immense over the last month. Berbs is on fire up front and all defenders are having a mare trying to control him. While they worry about him Keano and co are reaping the rewards.

Its amazing how people quickly forget how important Ledley King is to spurs. Not only is he our captain, King also came through the whole ranking system within THFC.

King is the undisputed son of spurs and didnt command a transfer fee, Berbatov hasnt been here a season yet-its amazing to even think he is more important than KING.

tough one, without Berbs we still have keane and defoe who are more than capable of carrying us. Without king, as we are aware, there is no-one to fill his boots and are likely to undo all the good work the front 2 are doing
