Spurs' usually wore navy and white striped shirts with their usual shorts and socks in the Edwardian period although red shirts appeared in 1912. There were, however, several occasions when various different shirts were used in FA Cup matches as well as one or two League games.

After the Second World War, Spurs' wore red shirts with their usual navy blue shirts and stockings with white turnovers when a change was needed (occasionally white shorts appeared).

Green shirts should definitely be banned. Was watching an MLS match other night. Pitch was AstroTurf weird green and was raining hard. Could barely see the players as camouflaged with pitch. Interesting that some of Liverpool’s best performances have been in that high vis orange shirt. Defo think that in your peripheral vision it has to be easier to Spot that shirt than a dull grey.

Great tweet from the TTT today about an FA Cup game with Preston NE in 1937:

If kits clashed then both teams changed. We opted for red shirts. Could you imagine the uproar now? I didn't know this is how a kit clash was decided.

The child in me chuckled as they then have red shirts and blue knickers

Our first ever kit was red shirts with blue sleeves.
