Apart from the fact that Klinsmann doesn't actually say that, the headline is completely accurate!

Jurgen must be racking his brain trying to think of another compliment for tomorrow's paper.

I think the key word is 'could'.
He 'could' get us relegated.
But as Avonspurs pointed out, he never said it anyway so... er.... yeah lol.

He said Wenger achieved a lot after being given time and so did Ferguson.

Didn't connect them to Poch at all.

Wenger won the double in his first full season.
He didn't need time.
Fergie was in another era of football. Every last detail about the way the game is run, played, watched, reported etc etc has changed..

It took Fergie until his 4th season to finally win a trophy. This banner was cheered when a fan put it up at Old Trafford. I wonder where Utd would be now if they had sacked him at the end of the 3rd season.

True - but he took over in September 1996, so had nearly a full season before his first full season. So shouldn't we give Pochettino at the very least a year until we judge him?

Football was way different back then.

These days if it looks like relegation may be on the cards eg Ramos era then clubs can't wait and hope and have to make the change.

Pochetto should be given enough time to trade for the sort of players he wants in HIS team; only then can he be judged as a Manager.

In fact, in Alex Ferguson's first full season at United he took them from 11th the season before (he took over in November '86) to 2nd in the 87/88 season.
People act as if they were on the brink of relegation for his first three years, but he was actually between top and mid table each of them.
