Tottenham’s new set-piece coach Gianni Vio has already earned a pay-rise according to Dejan Kulusevski, after Harry Kane scored from a corner for the second game running to decide Saturday’s 1-0 win over Wolves.

Vio joined Antonio Conte’s coaching staff from the Italian national team in the summer, bringing with him a playbook reportedly containing more than 4,800 set-piece routines.

from the stats mentioned we are leaking goals from opposition set pieces whereas Man City have had been letting nothing through. Hopefully Gianni is looking into that too.

Our zonal marking for Koulibaly's goal was laughable.

Ally Gold was saying that Vio only focuses on attacking set pieces, not defensive...

but yes, we have been looking for dangerous from set pieces.

Even so, I think any set piece coach should be able to see just how atrocious the defending for Koulibaly's goal was. We had 4 players that effectively took themselves out of the game by being around the near post where Chelsea had nobody. Looked like they were following instructions rigidly instead of having a look around and compensating.
