Naughton made one error slipping over and got up ran over and pulled the player down getting a yellow! Looks like he is going to get better and better

I felt like last year I was the only one giving this kid praise whilst everyone was going ape shit over walker, both look like they will be great but walker scares and naughton reminds me of bae using his pace to defend rather than bombarding forward

Just watched bits of the match and I thought he did ok and reminded me more of bae in the way he crosses from deep and almost waits halfway up their half to allow the winger do his thing and join in, when needed, in space that is free around the winger instead of getting his way

He did ok, in fact him and Crainey were the picks of a shoddy defensive effort. De Laet doesn't do the simple things right, Barnett is an ox of a man, but lacks technique and poor young Rudd was nervous as hell.

I think that was more to do with Fergie sticking to the same team that played so well in the CL Semi-Final.

I'm pretty sure Rafael would have still been the first choice right-back had he not been injured this season.

Interesting that Fabio is right-footed but has been mainly used at left-back - they really are the new Neville brothers!

Without doubt Fabio is the higher thought of twin and is higher in the pecking order than Rafael. I dont say this as my opinion, I cant tell the two apart, but its the general concenus between the majority or Man U fans.

Does any one think he could do a job for us next season.

I can see him slowly picking off Charlies place

Walker and Naughton will offer the right balance for Right back for years to come.

I hope.

Don't see that. Both are great going forward, but very suspect defensively.

That's weird as Rafael has made quite a few more starts than Fabio and has been their first-choice right-back?

The Man U fans are mainly prawn-sandwich eating nobbers don't forget. ;-)

Everytime I've seen Naughton play, even the training matches for us I've thought he's looked a great talent and prospect.

He does seem to play consistently well. Glad to see he's doing the business at Norwich

Don't think Naughton's really been given much opportunity for us - only games I remember were when he's been played left-back.

I'd like to see him given the opportunity to compete fairly with Walker for the chance to be the no.1 right-back.

Naughton had Park in his pocket the other night, Fergie then had to move him central.

Ah yes, I forgot to ask how Naughton got on against United? I didn't see the highlights but I'm guessing by the scoreline the back 4 had a good game?

Naughton received a yellow card yesterday, which means he has now racked up a 1 game suspension. Right when the fixture list gets really congested, good lad :)

Well he's just got that yellow against Wolves so he gets a one match suspension.

According to the commentators, he'll be able to serve the ban during Norwich Vs Spurs - a match he is due to miss anyway as we're his parent club.

I think the rules need abit of tweaking.
