Anyone seen any Spurs players wishing him well on Twitter? may have missed it, but I haven't.

They probably just used Whats app
I get that, probably they did it in private, just asking if anyone has seen it in public.. because I haven't.

Just wondering because I saw this:

Spurs In The Blood‏ @spursintheblood
Wanyama actually unfollowed Walker's IG - suggests something likely happened behind closed doors. Too bad we probably will never find out.

If something happened with Poch it may be a little awkward to publicly wish him well.

Noted the clubs wording as they wished Fazio 'all the best' and wished Walker 'well'. Semantics but felt a little different.
Njie got "all the best" as well. Maybe a different person writing the statement, maybe a difference because Walker moved to a rival, or maybe a difference because something went on. Only the club (and, weirdly, @Gaz_Gammon) know our side of the story.

As I mentioned before, maybe the Spurs players will have a chance to say goodbye to Walker on July 29th in Nashville when we play City. Be very interesting to see if he is selected or not. For some reason I have it in my head that Poch would have included a clause that he does NOT play so soon after the transfer. If he does however, I'm sure our fans will give him a friendly reception. I certainly don't bear any grudges about him leaving and wish him well....£50m is more than a fair price.

In the context of 18 other seasons in the PL, we were close, as close as we've ever been before. The point is, it's been an exciting few years of genuine improvement. Do you disagree? If not, stop being a pedant.
it's not pedantry. that we've made a huge improvement isn't even up for discussion, and we now have genuine hope of being able to actually achieve something in the near future. but it simply isn't true that we came close to winning the league in either of the last two seasons.

I doubt that Poch will care if Walker plays in a pre-season friendly.
Having said, I have tickets in the Spurs supporter section behind one of the goals...I have always liked Walker (But I like Poch even more...)

The crowd will be about 45,000, with most being neutrals, so I suspect that any reaction will not be noticed one way or the other.

As the transfer is now completed and he is officially a Manchester City player may I suggest we now draw a line under this particular thread and discuss matters that are much more important ...like getting rid of Sissoko....;)

I'm sure he can do a job at right wing back...

Lol just seen Gary Lineker's tweet about his crossing (apologies if late to party on this one).

I liked Walker but his crossing always did worry me so just hope we do get whoever Poch wants as replacement and that KWP managers to snatch any chances he gets, which under Poch I hope he gets like Winks did.

I'll also be there in the Tottenham supporters section, and my reaction will definitely be noticed. :p

Kyle Walker: Manchester City defender says he left Tottenham to start lifting trophies
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40662973

It's true, he is more likely to win trophies with that tinpot mercenary club who used to be perennial relegation candidates, than he is with a proper club like Spurs. That's just the way football is unfortunately - look at Chelsea, a club whose entire recent history of "success" is built on the proceeds of money criminally stolen from the Russian people. Football in the modern era.

Perhaps even their entire existence - they were in serious trouble when Abramovich came along.

Edit: I wrote the above before clicking the link and I'm now annoyed as I hold the BBC to higher standards than this. He actually says that he left Tottenham for a new challenge having been with us for 9 years and also trots out a generic line about playing with world class players and winning trophies, making no reference to Spurs in the process. The BBC have gone for a clickbait headline.
