Don't see a thread for this, so starting one.

Barcelona 3-0 up after less than 25 mins against Levante. Want them to leave Madrid in their dust this season again, Bale or no Bale.

Edit - make that 4-0.

Messi is just taking the piss. They can't get near him sometimes.

That is an insanely good goal. Lucky enough with the finish but the build up play was lovely.

6-0 at half time. That's more goals than Stoke will score all season!

The way the TV money has been distributed has absolutely killed this league.

This is great from Barca but nowhere near a fair competition, it's more of an exhibition.

I cant even watch anymore and its not because Barcelona is that good, its because the sorry state of spanish football and what weirder is that the segunda is getting stronger because they dont much debt.

For example Villarreal had a top half la liga squad and went down, they still had members in their team that played CL footy and they struggled to get automatic promotion in the Segunda. The other team Sporting Gijon were closer to relegation than play offs and Racing Santander did get relegated in to the 3rd level which is closer to league 2/conference tbh and Segunda unlike the championship the segunda has never been a strong league in terms of quality.

Whats worse, was the worst case scenario of all the clubs going in debt and then going in to administration, would see clubs potentially from the third teir of footy get promoted to la liga:eek:, there is that many teams in debt. Apparently the spanish team would regular go in to administration to not pay their debts and as result the FA had to say administration, now results in automatic relegation:eek:.

The second tier of Spanish teams have spanked the best premier league teams in recent seasons which is worrying.
The spanish teams have less quality but better tactics and work rate and Bilbao for example couldn't sustain their form that season they beat Man Utd. Also if those Spanish teams play a english in the CL it would be a different story, but spanish teams are setup better but that doesnt work against Barca as they are set up similar and the quality gap is huge!

Yeah I'd say the majority of teams in La Liga would give a lot of teams in the Prem a run for their money. I would say their technically and tactically stronger than most.

But Prem is improving with foreign coaches and systems, teams like Southampton and Swansea wouldn't look out of place in most leagues.

Still from a competition point of view La Liga is lacking which is a Shame because it had very good depth not so long ago.

It's getting to the point where Piqué is getting good chances in the opponents box, it's like watching the Harlem Globetrotters, it's ridiculous lol.
