Makes you wonder why he couldn't cut it at Arse eh? (was it the weather?) Cos he's definitely a talented player IMO.

Madrid are my pick for the champions league, lots of pace, flair, and on paper a good defence but maybe not gelling yet, similar to our defensive situation.

I didnt think Real's performance even came close to that of Barca's first half display against Zaragoza, that was just out of this world. Messi and Iniesta were absolute quality. If Thierry ever finds his form then there going to be unstoppable. Messi is the best in the world at this moment in time

Sevilla lose 2-0 to Real Z. Oh dear. Oh dear oh dear oh dear. They'd better beat Deportivo next Sunday is all I can say.

4 defeats on the trot for sevilla but to be fair its no disgrace to lose against Barca, Arsenal or even Zaragoza away bu losing at home midweek was a real surprise. Ramos will definately be feeling summer pressure now I think

They needed a penalty shoot-out to beat Espanyol in the UEFA Final, and Espanyol were down to 10 men after 70 minutes or so.

I'll have a real giggle if they fail to beat Slavia on Tuesday.

No disgrace for them to lose to Arsenal. Well, no, but a lot of people seemed to think it was a disgrace for us to lose to them, and we gave them a much closer run than Sevilla did.

that's because spurs/arse is a rivalry game. if that was taken out of the equation most would feel there is no shame in losing to them on their current form.

4-0 to Barca after 50 mins, Henry hattrick and 1 for Messi

imagine when ronaldinho and eto'o come back from their injuries..

messi, henry, deco, eto'o, ronaldinho.. and bojan krkic and giovanni dos santos on the bench. :eek:mg:

Funnily enough, Deco is the one i would have out first-he has nothing that iniesta and xavi cant do, and those two have the advantage of never giving the ball away

Toure is injured for a month now so it looks like Marquez will revert to DMC with Puyol and Milito at CB-still seems very strong but toure has been excellent so far

It seems to be more of a case of imagining what Ronaldinho will do when he comes back from his hangover.
