football is not a betting shop
it would be madness to let the likes of townsend leave our club
he could go on under poch to be a big time player
why let go of our future stars?

I would keep Townsend

I would prefer Lallana to Townsend on their recent performances but I would agree in that there would be other midfielders I would look to move, on or trade away, before I let Townsend leave.

Townsend won't be as good as Lallana but they're different types of players. In a match where the opposition is tired and the game is stretched you're gonna want to bring on Townsend for his pace as opposed to Lallana even if Townsend is the inferior player.

Why are we writing off Townsend? I thought Pochetino is good at getting the best out of young players. He's suppose to be a good coach. Give Townsend a break and let Pochetino coach him. He's still young and I believe with the right coaching has the potential to become excellent!
I definitely would keep him.

''Spurs are also ready to off-load Nacer Chadli, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Lewis Holtby and Michael Dawson this summer.

Hugo Lloris and Roberto Soldado both likely to go for major transfer fees, while the futures of Jan Vertonghen, Etiene Capoue and Paulinho are all up in the air''.

These are the things that get on my nerves, so according to this hack were smashing our squad to bits ..

I doubt that very much and i think that Poch would like to work with 90% of the players before he decides who can go next season. Chadli has got some potential as he showed in his last half a dozen games last season, Im certain Holtby also could be made in to a better player with Poch's coaching. I can see both Daws and Siggy leaving out of those four.

Of the next five listed i could only see Soldado being allowed to leave if we get a good offer for him.

Hugo and Pauli have both said their happy here, Verts, i feel, will start over for Poch and forget his disappointments of last season, Capoue is quality and if Poch thinks he can use him will stay and be of great use.

Again, it is up to Poch and how he thinks players will fit in to his way of thinking but i cant see him rushing in to letting so many players go in his first season without seeing how they respond to his methods.

Do you not realise that your last sentence looks a bit silly, given what you said previously (which I agree with)?

We have Ericksen, so why would we want Lallana?

Lallana can play wide left, right or centre (in the absence of Eriksen, who it was revealed CAN get injured). An attacking midfield trio of of Lallana, Eriksen and Lamela, with a lone striker in an AVB/Pochettino style 4-3-3 with an in-form Soldado would be a threat to any Premiership defence.
