Undoubtedly enjoying his most successful spell during his tenure in North London, Tottenham’s Erik Lamela has been rewarded for his bright start to the new season. It is being reported by TyC Sports that the 26-year-old is set to be recalled to Argentina’s next squad. On the 16th of November, Lionel Scaloni’s side will face Mexico in an international friendly held in Cordoba.

Every player wants to represent their country. It's just a bit of a pain in the arse when it means travelling half way round the World for a pointless friendly.

Hope the Argentinian management realize Lamela has a chronic fitness issue and is unable to train to his fullest capacity many a time. Other than that, I'm happy for the lad.
