if he was so good as you say so , Wenger will use him not sell him

Which is why Wenger promised him at the very least 20 games this season. The reason he's become wantaway is that Flamini has shown how good he is, and so nabbed his spot in the Arsenal first string team. Diarra wants to be playing football so he can cement his place in the French squad for the European Championship. If Flamini were to get injured, Diarra would slot straight into the team and his trnasfer would fall by the wayside.

Speaking of getting Diarra, I'm gobsmacked that we seem to have fallen behind Portsmouth in the race to sign him.

And if the Scum have no intention of selling to us, what do you propose we do about it?

Perversely, we'd probably have had a better chance of signing him if the Dear Leader's chum Dein had still been on their board.

Couple of questions.

Why are people panicking? fook me, two weeks left and even if we do no business, so what. Major business is done in the summer not mid season.

I don't want Diarra, he's a goon, fuck em, there are plenty of other players out there we can get. I'm more than happy if we never do any business with the scum, handing money over to that lot is wrong, just plain wrong, I feel dirty just thinking about it.

Why worry about Pompey? Flash in the pan, probably be back in the chump league in a couple of years.

It's on their official site too. Oh well, perhaps we've missed a bad egg.

jumped up little shit.....

"My choice will shock and surprise people. Portsmouth is not Arsenal or Chelsea. But I know what the big clubs are," he said. "I know the trainer of Portsmouth and I know that he will play me. Everything has been very clear." He added in L'Equipe: "I need to play. I am fed up of pleasing people. I am 22-years-old and the most important thing to me is football, my job, my passion. "Portsmouth is a respectable club, which has achieved a very good start to the season. "I have absolutely nothing against Arsene Wenger. Arsenal is achieving a great start to the season, so Arsene is right. I just hoped to make a name for myself. "Some people say I made a mistake by joining Portsmouth considering Les Bleus. I don't think so. I thought a lot. I will play more often." Diarra went on to admit that Lyon made an approach, however the French side failed to match his wage expectations. "About the interest from Lyon; I will be very clear. At first England was my priority. Then in France, they could not pay my wages," he concluded.

Better off without him. There's obviously a reason why both chelsea and arsenal didn't play him.

^ Deluded.

Quality player, would have made a big difference to our team.

Watching Petrov yesterday hurt as well. When will they learn?

Well, as is rumoured, if Arsenal wouldn't do business with us, what is it that we can do? Levy won't be held to ransom will he?

So I'm not sure there's a solution to this, unless we buy him off Portsmouth as a giant "fuck you" to all things Arsenal. :)

Wasn't there a rumour a few windows ago that Chelsea were going to buy SWP just so they could price him up massively and then sell him to us straight away or something? some random shenanigans...

It's all getting a bit Spy -v- Spy, this transfer malarky
