Does anyone sit near SK Son fans? Love that whenever he does something even remotely good it cuts to a shot of the crowd where there'll either be a nervous looking young lady with a cute "Son" sign or a pair of guys who are losing their minds at how amazing he is. During the match today, just before he scored, they showed a lass with three gold balloons spelling out "SON" - it's so fucking cute.

Love the enthusiasm, he is clearly a very popular chap back home, says a lot about the man.

Saw her and she had that mouth mask...found that weird.

I remember sharing a story in here when we played Ghent at home and lost it with some know all talking to the steward just behind me. He was slagging off the Ghent fans who were leading us because.... they didn’t bring more many fans and had their phones lit.

I almost got ejected when another 5 stewards came to support the other steward.

Just on my way back from Chelsea game.

The man two rows behind me, every time Spurs lost the ball, said something like this:

“Time to rest for me now boys! Now you need to show me! Let’s not let them back into it. Now you need to show me. Foyth - don’t do that, be better! Now you need to show me son!”

Like Spurs were the Sunday league pub team that he managed.

It was the “for me” bit that made me laugh.

And I was able to laugh because we were hammering Chelsea; probably wouldn’t have found it funny if not.

Anyway, thought I’d open the forum up to others’ experiences of right plonkers at the game.

Bit harsh. Bloke was enjoying the game and expressing his feelings. He wasn't being a miserable git or slagging anyone off or moaning.

Good luck to him hope foyth shows him next game aswell.

I always find it would be the Asian fans and particular the South Koreans. I just noticed it and something you see quite often in Korea. Didn't connect the dots w.r.t cold/flu.
I could be wrong, but I think people from Japan/Korea, don't have quite as strong an immune system, are prone to colds/anemia, especially during the change in seasons. So keeping your germs to yourself, or keeping out poor air quality, is strongly encouraged there.

That could be bollocks though, and it's just general consideration for others.

nah, she didn't want to breathe everyone elses germs

seriously though, those masks wont filter out virus, more likely airborne pollution?

Took my gf and her four housemates (all of them Korean) to last nights game and they went absolutely ballistic when Son scored. They went mental for the others too, but particularly that goal, and a load of fellow spurs fans jumped all over them (in a good way, not a bad or @Houdini way). They had a great time at the game so cheers to everyone and in particular block 128 for making the atmosphere brilliant :) it's games and atmospheres like that that help blood new fans

They see it as a way of preventing the spread of disease as they see it. I don't think they have away at the moment to stop the poor air quality affecting them. Some days the air quality is so bad it can be dangerous to leave the house.

And what a goal it was too. I think it might be the best goal I've seen live.

Keep saying it. Spurs fans are nobs. But to be fair, most people are. Generally I only like me, some of my family and about 5 people I’ve been drinking with since school. The rest of the world are nobs.

Nobs.
Disclaimer: I’ve just realised that I’ve probably met 100 odd SC members in my time here and I’d like to point out you’ve been a delight. Truly, the exceptions that prove the rule :cautious:

That's nice to know. Have you ever met any who weren't odd?
