So hope he's fit for the Carling Cup quarter final - gonna need him big time for that game

Yep DC Boy. To be honest we'll need a hell of a run to make UEFA by the league so progression to latter stages of cups (to stand a chance of winning one) is a must.

Than Champs League push next season hopefully

It's his left arm that in the only indication that it's a different picture.

He can stand still really well! If only he could tackle as well as he can stand still!

Good looking out. Now I can start functioning again...Eek

Oh yeah, repped for ending my curiousity about the pictures

Very interesting. Just had a conversation at work with someone who knows about this stuff and he said Ledley will not kick a football in anger for Spurs again. The situation is, plays 1 game, next 4/5 games treatment room. Hope he`s wrong. Sorry to bring down the upbeat atmosphere of this thread.

Sorry lads, but I just read this over at COYS

Ledley had one of his legs had been amputated and he has a skin-eating disease. Also last night he ate some bad curry and had the shits. 100% true

so your saying your mate at work is good at diagnosing the long term effects of made up injuries.

the fact Jol has had the forum and arguably the provocation to mention King but has not, is the final evidence i needed.
Any ITK(!?!) story promoting an early demise I now confidently refer to as "Continually Unhelpfull Nonsense Tales"... catchy isn't it. .. i may bring out some t-shirts and other branded goodies like cups and mints.

The initials are unfortunate though.

In your original post you said your mate knows about this stuff, not that he was privvy to information that the rest of us are not. So, I assume that he does not actually know any more than the rest of us and his assessment of the injury was based on what has been spread about in the papers. That being the case, you tell me how the hell he can make ANY type of diagnosis without access to Ledley's actual medical records?
He has had a cartiledge operation, how the hell is that career threatening unless there are other complications that nobody outside of Ledley and his doctor's would really know about?
He is back in training, that in itself tells you that he has managed a quite high level of fitness. He has probably had 8 weeks of non-impact rehab, another 4 weeks of light impact (jogging, running etc) he then would have done some light ball work, some twisting and turning. Only after all of that would he be anywhere near full training with the rest of the players, which he clearly is.

For the life of me I do not understand why people listen to the media when the evidence is in front of their eyes. When he was not ready he was not training, now that he has proven that the injury has properly healed and that his knee is structurally sound he is training in readiness to return to the first team.

Simple!

Does look in all the other player pics that they are all looking shocked or pointing and saying "Who's the new guy?". Even Berby looks like he is praying King will stay fit.

Keane should kneel before him and ceremoniously return the captains armband on a velvet cushion before the kick-off of his first game back!

Of course he still has to fight for his place against Kaboul and Rocha....

Berbatov was praying that King didn't mark him in the training match. He has had it easy since he has been out and now will have to work in training

Noone dares to go near King, let alone fight him :hand:
