I wish him luck. Just hope that Ledley isn't "Too beaucoup" for them out there...

we had a young Iranian keeper called Jawal or something but not sure which left first. Young-pyo was the only one near the first team
Iraqi, Shawan jawal. Joined Hastings or done one in the end. Let's not forget Toda from Japan who also came and vanished.
And of course, Qu Bo, or Kevin....

Lee was an immediate hit and earned a spot on the EPL's best eleven in his debut week. Jol, at the time of his signing on summer 2005, touted him as "the best left-back in Holland." (He came from PSV, didn't he?)

Hmmm. hate to bring this up, and probably it is different at the level Ledley operates at, but a friend of mine lives in China, his Girlfriend is African and oh my god, she is shunned whereever she goes. Really bad.

I can't get the thought out of my head of Ledly King trying to use chop sticks. I think he might accidently kill someone.

Hope King is good at identifying talent. With a population exceeding 1.4 billion, there's got to be a big pool of talent waiting to be discovered.

pretty sure its about publicity and profile in china. Doubt they are looking to sign anyone
As far as identifying talents, it's a complete waste of time. The Economist, a couple of years back, wrote the Chinese couldn't score an own goal to fulfill the quota of 0-4 in a rigged game. But for commercial purposes and enhancing the brand, it is required. Maybe the club should set up a summer training camp for kids there too.
