Nice find! Now surely this puts to bed the rumours that he's dead!

Long live the King!

2 touch training match.

To be honest, I wouldn't know. When I was playing training tended to consist of a bit of running around followed by half-a-dozen light-and-bitters. Sometimes we'd kick the running around out of the window and go straight to the ales.

But seriously, it's a bit more than has been suggested.

The greatest thing about leds is his class and conduct as a player on the field. He once went 11 games without conceding a foul? How is that even possible in top flight football?

No fuss, no cynical fouls, no squaring up to players (John Terry his childhood friend and scummy chav, apart) just class.

He is beyond doubt my favourite player and I have believed for a long time that he will never play for another team, whether he retires tomorrow or in 10 years, he is a yid for life!

Can't wait to see you leading the team out Leds, you are Mr Spurs as far as I am concerned!

You trained? When I played, we always thought that was bad sportsmanship.

Next you'll be telling us you cleaned your boots.

Didn't Wendy say this week that Ledley was months away from a return?

No, what he said was that it was difficult to say whether it would 2 weeks or 2 months because it is a serious injury that takes time to heal.

But as I have said elsewhere he would have had to do alot of work just to get to where he is now. The fact that he is actually training with the squad and doing ball work and training matches shows that unless he suffers a setback at this stage he will be ready to play within 3 weeks.

So as it stands he is fit and is merely getting his fitness levels up. A good comparison is Rocha, who has fully healed from his operation but is not yet ready to train with the squad or do any ball work.
