People seem to be upset by what I wrote. The point of it was to compare how we are reticent to give any compliment to Sissoko to the same reticence to criticise Kane. Look, I'm the same as most people when Sissoko gets the ball: I wonder what on earth is going to happen next and am pleasantly surprised when it doesn't boomerang off his foot to the opposition. But our team is built on the collective, so that was why I made the reference to Kane. I'm really happy he scored four, especially as I wanted to see Leicester battered for how they were towards us and Kane.

Didn't upset me mate, just prompted me to post my thoughts on how I like his greed as it makes him hungry and we need more hungry players on pitch as pre-Poch there could be an element of our players just being too darn nice.

I genuinely think that nobody really cares (unless you're a Chelsea fan)

Don't know if it's been mentioned but I thought it was a bit shit of Leicester to send Albrighton out to defend that performance.
I watched Sky interview Kane after the match and then Poch 5-10 minutes later.
Usually they would then have the other manager interviewed but Albrighton was put out. Poor lad looked like he had just been beaten up with the black eye and no sign of Shakespeare or did I switch off too early.

Lesniak, whose name spellcheck has trouble with, looked a bit tasty. I think that we should be big enough to pay compliments without caveats to Sissoko. He has been poor and lacks confidence. Frankly, I was starting to get pissed off with Kane's very evident pursuit of the Golden Boot, spurning opportunities to pass to colleagues in prime positions.
he scored 4 goals, and your pissed off?

Why don't you read what I actually wrote and what part of the game I was referring to? It was when he had only scored one.
Do u not think if it was greed as u put it, Poch would've pulled him up on it by now?
He's ridiculously good at finishing, to the point where he has a greater chance of scoring a difficult chance, than another player would a slightly easier one.

He's not changed his approach all season, imo it's coming from the manager....shoot on sight, wherever you are (within reason), and when he doesn't score he's nearly always working the keeper, which in turn creates more chances.

his a striker, his meant to be greedy!! Ronaldo is the same, I would rather have a greedy striker like Harry than some selfless one like Shane Long or Welbeck

I apologise in advance but it has to be nipped in the bud. It is "he is" not "his". I have seen quite a few on here use "of" instead of "have", but this is a new one for me.

Sorry but can you take this to the What Our Opponents Fans Are Saying thread where it belongs please?

I'm so glad we didn't so much destroy them, but held them down and kicked the shit out of them. Like that gobby chav who acts hard round his mates, only when on his own he's a complete pussy...

I agree with you on all of that. All strikers have to be greedy; according to Jenas, Kane was single-minded about scoring even in the youth ranks. That said, we have three players on twenty goals.

I agree with all that you say about shooting on sight; in fact, I'd say that more of our players should. The point of my post wasn't actually about Kane. I was just comparing how we may be reluctant to criticise one player and reluctant to praise another. That seems to have been lost.

We've been saying that one day we were going to dish out a beating. I'm really glad that it was Leicester who can't sit down due to their sore buttocks.
