Players prime st different ages Lennon primed very early he was very good from the ages 17-23 and never really kick on from there
I think he should have taken it to another level. He had pace, work rate and the ability but stagnated. He should have replaced Beckham as the right sided player but never did. I always think what could have been with Lennon

He had the talent but sadly it’s sounds like he has had his fair share of mental issues

Always felt he was outstandingly brilliant at what he was good at but as an attacker his game lacked some key ingredients. Crossing was mostly poor as was his passing and he didn't score enough goals.

his own fault if you believe the coaches he played under...Redknapp always said his downfall was his laziness in training and work ethic

Considering Moura has played less than 30 games for Tottenham compared to Lennon's 300+, that at 26 Moura has quite possibly yet to hit his prime certainly in a Spurs shirt and that they both fundementaly play in different positions for Spurs (Moura an AM, No 10 and even n.9. Lennon largely an out and out winger with a few appearances in the hole)I feel it s unfair to compare them at this moment.
I feel it’s unfair you had me read that without a single full stop.

But other than that, completely agree.

Not sure what’s happened to Moura. Maybe poch has asked him to be more disciplined. But the mazey runs seem to have disappeared that were the best part of his game. Maybe he’s just one of those Brazilians that doesn’t like cold weather.

There are quite a few reasons as to why they're not the most ideal to compare but as of now I can say that I preferred Lennon, although that could change if Lucas starts to find his feet.

I just feel like not only did we know what we were getting with Lennon, but he knew his game and his role in the side and that counts massively towards effectiveness, especially as I think Lucas is the all round better player so it counts for a lot.

I'm just disappointed in what I see of Lucas now, I don't think he seeks out the ball by coming short or runs into good spaces. He seems to position himself in congested areas where he's too difficult to pick out. From someone of his talent I really feel like we should be getting more out of him. He should have been running Leicester ragged yesterday IMO with the pace he has to get in behind.

Played in Paris for the last 4-5 years, so the weather should not be an excuse. He appears at times to lack awareness and a football brain..
