Article is from mid October. Long after the summer window closed (so, if there was interest, Spurs will have to sign him in a later transfer window - Januar window being the next window).
Besdies, @Trix just confirmed interest from Spurs' side.

Probably a buy and loan back deal like Alli if there's anything in it.

Tore it up here in the Peterborough youth leagues. Virtually unplayable. Before Posh picked him up, he scored something like 42 goals in 18 games. He came through Sporting Lisbon's academy.

Interestingly he plays cm2 now in Posh? Sounds like the development of Alli/Mason

Followed this lad a lot, you can see the talent is there, he is dead fast, could play in behind the striker or out wide! From what I've seen, he plays a fair bit like Edwards with more speed, and would be a great acquisition!!

Also, pretty sure that we have been good to the Posh over the years, they've taken a couple of ours, and even have McGee and Oduwa on loan this year, so we evidently have a good relationship there!:)

surely no kid in their right mind would ever sign for Chelsea

I totally agree but. as a Russian saying goes, "When money talk, truth keep silent". Same can be said about common sense - and for some players all they care about is fast money. Not a single one of those "wonder kids" Chelski started buying since Roman and Jose (his first stint as manager) came have bought ever made it anywhere "big" ....yet they keep on signing so-called top talent. Because they offer (much) more money than any other/most clubs club.

They buy, loan out and sell if they don´t find use for them. I can´t see why young talents would sign for them with the chances of making the grade is so slim but you have to say Kevin de Bryune made a pretty good career for himself even if he signed for chelsea.
