Evidence we are willing/able to spend 50m on him please, bearing in mind we've never spent that much? You might think that it sounds doable, and indeed it probably should be, but we've seen players in positions we need who would improve us go for that money while we instead haggle on 20m Grealish. So personally I think we would see that as too expensive. Not that hard to fathom.
