Basically he is saying man utd/city can spend hundreds of millions but i can't.
He didn't have any say on bringing them in, his choices were Edin Dzeko and Alex Sandro and they ended up Giroud and Palmieiri which is what he's practically saying - he is publicly blaming himself but wants everyone to know that the players that were bought in weren't his players.
Bargain basement woes
Conte was exactly the same at Juve. Just moaned the entire time about not getting the signings he wanted
Conte is never happy is he. Must be a barrel of laughs.
So, who's signings would Crouch and Andy Carroll have been?
The boards I'd imagine.
Lost in all of Conte's whining was that Chesea are looking at Luis Enrique as a replacement if they sack Conte. I hope that happens. Enrique is a big downgrade from Conte and I think he'll be a disaster there.
Trying to get the sack so he can get his payoff.
Exactly. He's pretty much begging to be sacked but Chelsea don't want to pay him off
Four defeats in their last five games in the league. Only two wins in 2018.
He's not a terrible manager though is he? I thought he was being looked at by Arsenal.
Either way, good result again today.
If you are going to Man City, you don't play Fabregas and Drinkwater as your two CM's. They don't have the pace or athleticism to press and disrupt City's flow
Absolutely shocking from Chelsea today. There was a moment in the second half where every player walked around on the Chelsea team as if they gave City a nod we won't go at you if you don't go at us. Either way Chelsea never looked like scoring anyway. Morata and Giroud waiting to come on. Alonso being lazy. Pedro overhitting every counter attack. Conte is leaving a legacy behind deliberately. I bet Roman is fuming at his manager or players that they can't be arsed. Id laugh if they are out of the top 4 with Arsenal
Tell you what, if we don't beat them this season then.... well I dunno.
I love the fact that Conte defended himself towards Neville and Redknapp's allegations that Chelsea were too defensive going in to the game.
who care what the pundits are saying.
Chelsea were never going to press and disrupt their flow no matter who they had.
They would have been better equipped with Kante
