Depends on whether he thinks he can keep him or not. If Sarri's already decided there's no persuading him then, as you say, why would he care?

If Sarri was playing him then he would probably want to stay. Sarri has more influence over him than anyone else at the moment.

Maybe, maybe not. He's seen plenty of what it's like at the club and might've decided he's had enough of being part of their toxic dressing room even if he was playing. Also even if they start playing him all of a sudden, it's fairly transparent that they'd be doing it to get him to tie himself down and then he could easily get stuck on the bench again.

To be honest, even putting the obvious Spurs bias aside, Chelsea are not an attractive club to play for at the moment. Toxic dressing room, massive uncertainty about the management, key players agitating for a move, struggling to compete with the big boys....the only thing they've got going for them is that they can pay big wages, but even that isn't necessarily going to last given all the developments with FFP and their owner's personal "situation". Out of all of the "Big 6" they're probably the club that are least attractive to play for at the moment IMO. Arsenal is probably a close second, but at least Arsenal have hit the reset button already and are underway in their rebuilding project, even if it is only in its infancy. Chelsea are still in the middle of a bit of a meltdown and it looks like it's going to get worse before it gets better.

Chelsea have just put tickets for Slavia Prague and WEST HAM on general sale up to 4 tickets per person.
Looks like some of their glory hunters are abandoning them :ROFLMAO:

Although they’ve already reached one cup final and look well on course to reach another one at the end of the season. It pains me to say it but considering the amount of turnover of managers and players they have the bastards keep winning those shiny silver things that we keep hearing about.

Reached the final of the "Consolation Prize Cup" but didn't actually win it. And they're in the QF of the Europa League so I'd hardly class that as being "well on course" to win it. Especially given what a shambles they are at the moment. I wouldn't trade places with them let's put it that way.

These types of comments still make me laugh. Of course every team wants to win things, but if you look at us as a club now and the progress we've made, it's honestly been nothing short of brilliant, despite not having a trophy. Rivals will always try to make it looks as i we've been nothing but a failure, but they really couldn't be more wrong.

Is funny coming from a Chelsea player too, I'd love to see where they'd be now without that injection of Russian money.

.......and, of course, it helps when you have a sugar daddy that ploughs over a £1billion of corrupt oil slaver money into your club, especially at a time when player fees were relatively reasonable.

Exactly. Plastic player for a plastic club is in no place to be talking about which club has this and that. If Chelsea are so great then why has he thrown a tantrum trying to get a move every transfer window for the last 3 or 4 seasons. Bellend.

Chelsea and England footballer Danny Drinkwater has been charged with drink-driving after a car crash.

The midfielder was arrested after a Range Rover crashed in Mere, Cheshire, in the early hours of Monday

If only there was a way for Danny to have stopped and thought to drink water instead. :censored::cautious:

"Chelsea and England midfielder" seems a bit excessive. He's played a grand total of 30 mins and that was in the Community Shield. He's only even made the bench twice FFS :ROFLMAO: He's probably spent more minutes drink-driving than he has being a Chelsea and England midfielder.
