Well I assumed the reason for us not signing anyone since old leatherarse died was down to a transfer ban :cautious:
Oh, yeah, right... I knew that...

They’ll have to bung them a lot of cash if they have that transfer ban. Without doing that, not many top managers will want to go there if they can’t bring players in.

The ban should be an exciting time for the club. Get a progressive manager in and play the youngsters for a year. They’ve some potentially good players there. Take a hit on where they may finish in the league for one season but give them a chance to see if they are good enough for the league. They won’t, but they should and you’d think their fans would like to see some of their home grown lads brought through.
What, like the homegrown, West Ham academy graduate Joe Cole?

This lot are the original shithouse club.

No matter the fuckery they'll still end next season CL qualified and with a pot too.

Bastards.

I don't know why so many people point out their failings and completely exclude the stuff they win.

Slagged them off all through this season and they finished above us and won a(nother) cup.

They might operate in a way that suggests they're on the verge of collapsing, but they pretty much always win something and when they don't they come back stronger each time.

Even with this transfer ban, even though their coach is going, they shouldn't be taken lightly. They have become that team that seems to succeed despite the circumstances now.

Personally I'd use the transfer ban as an exciting opportunity to bring likes of Loftus-Cheek (when recovered from injury, gutted for him getting that just as breaking through), Hudson-Odoi, Abrahams and any other promising youngsters they have (as they do have a LOT of them!:LOL:).

What might hurt Chelsea more than the transfer ban, is the upcoming limit on loan players.
They have been hoarding talent for years to deny their rivals. Now they may have to have a fire sale, at a loss and stop being able to do that, allowing their rivals a fairer shot at players.

It was one of those secret bans like when Lamela snorted 1kg of marching powder in an evening and the club said it was a 'long term hip injury'

I hope you're joking.

People act as if Chelsea are a 1 man team. Hazard played 60 minutes of that match, didn't score and we still lost, to nil.

It's getting a bit pathetic how people think they'll suddenly end up mixing with West Ham in 10th after he's gone.

They still have Kante, Willian, Pedro, Barkley and Giroud who are all pretty decent players.
They also have some 378 other players out on loan don't forget.

Yeah, one game against us says it all really. Lets ignore the seasons he's been carrying their offensive. What's going to happen to them is exactly what will happen if Eriksen leaves us. A massive coping period. IF they get that ban then can't even buy someone in to take his place.

Did he keep all their clean sheets?
Did he score and/or create all their winners?

We've written them off time and time again with a worrying level of disdain for a super rich club. They actually seem to revel in adversity.

Last season Hazard was top for goals scored, assists, chances created and dribbles at Chelsea, he hit 15 goals and 16 assists last season which made him the most important player in the league as far as influence on a team.

The problem at Chelsea is that they don't even have a goalscorer who will guarantee them 15 goals a season, they don't have a playmaker like him who will guarantee them 15 assists, they don't have anyone anywhere near who has the creative influence as him, it's going to hit them hard.

I said this before that Chelsea losing Hazard will hit them for 6 and some joker on here tried to compare their situation to Liverpool losing Coutinho when they're nothing alike, at least as far as Liverpool were concerned they still had Mane and Salah to score goals and Firminho to provide assists, Chelsea don't have that.
