The thing is I'm not actually laughing at the man. He has a huge ego problem and this will be crushing him, much more than many other managers who have faced such dire times. I actually fear for his mental health if he doesn't turn things around and does get sacked (which looks quite possible despite his saying it won't happen) and wouldn't wish a breakdown on anyone.

No way a fan of his or of Chelscum but the way he is reacting now is really not healthy. Whatever you think of the man, he has been a fantastic manager and is living very much on the edge right now and it makes me feel very uncomfortable.

Bizarrely, there are some newspaper reports suggesting Chelsea want to rehire AVB
Not surprised really.
Their problem is they've hired and fired so many coaches there are very few supposed top banana options left other than going back on previous coaches.
I love the way Maureen only sees decisions that should go their way. Mod interviewer should have mentioned Costas kick that should have been a straight red.
Piss myself if that gets retrospective action, which it bloody well should because it sure as shit would for anyone else.

Crushing him :) Excellent lol.
Sorry but he's a truly horrible person imo and his mouth, the poke in the face incident and the physio incident, just to name a few, leave me with no sympathy for this grade A arsehole at all.
He made this bed. Now he'll have to lay in it.

Yes, he's arrogant and unlikeable. He has made some huge mistakes and hurt people and he's paying the price. It still doesn't please me.

Have been saying this for ages, that was the start of it. They had an amazing first half to last season and that was enough to get them over the line in the end.

I also think Fabregas has looked a shadow of the player he was at the Scum and Barca. He started off well at Chelsea creating loads and racking up the assists, but since losing to us last season he has been massively under par. Big part of their problem IMO.
Fábregas has a history of showing up for half a season and fading badly. Check out what the Barca hierarchy said when they sold him. Very damning. I agree about last season and after our defeat of them, if there was a stronger challenge from the other teams the criticism would have started much sooner for Jose

they've changed the rules so what happens to us can't happen again. obviously it had to be us that called foul of it.

BBC 5-Live's Garry Richardson:

"Let me tell you what I know on the Chelsea story. My information comes from a Chelsea first team player.

"The information was actually passed to me by a football contact. I was told that Jose Mourinho's relationship with many of his players is at rock bottom.

"I was told they're fed up with the way he's been dealing with some of them. They're fed up with his outbursts. I was told that his relationship particularly with Eden Hazard was under immense strain."

He added: "Here's a staggering quote. One player said recently, 'I'd rather lose than win for him'. Now that last quote may well have been said in the heat of the moment, but it perhaps gives an insight into the mood of some of the players."

Ancelotti will not come back to Chelsea.

I think this is partially true of sorts.....from what i have read Ancellotti would be willing to go back to Chelsea....IF...they were willing to make him more than the care-taker.

I think Roman wants Pep, or at least a chance of trying for Pep in the summer and won't sanction Ancellotti as a full time manager. Ancellotti (rightfully so as he has the CV to back it up) doesn't want to be a dead man walking care-taker role.

So I guess, technically, the door would still be open to a return but it would require either one or both of Roman and Carlo coming to an agreement.

With Roman's money i wouldn't necessarily rule anything out.

Well, they haven't been playing like that. Their defense is wobbly as fuck, but they are still all putting in a shift. None of that rings true to me tbh.

What shift lol

They've been playing half hearted and looking like they can't be asked, yesterday against Liverpool a poster on here said it looked exactly like Ramos' last day with us where players just gave up, so true.

Nah, for me the main problem is their fear of defending. I don't see general resignation.

That was me. They look like they are just going through the motions like we did under Ramos. He's lost the dressing room I reckon.
