klopp now has a WORSE record than brendan rogers....is this pretense that he is the liverpool messiah going to finally fall? or will the media keep shouting hallelujah in every single bloody match preview....great manager...blah blah

(I am still angry about the BT "klopp cam" covering 1/3 of the screen in his first game against us...this alone is good enough reason for me to enjoy his downfall....yes I am that petty : ) )

A little bit of momentum is gathering around his detractors, saw one youtube vid this morning with Curbs and Lescott questioning his defensive work and discipline.

their problem is tha Klopp genuinely doesn't get what is wrong. I think he truely believes teams should just roll over for them:

Until they play us....then, well, we know what will happen.....

Buying Sanchez and Aurier must be with an eye on preventing that from happening again. We played a very different tactical game to our normal system against Borussia. I think we will be adopting a similar approach to 'Pool.

I actually think it is becoming a common standard this season to play ultra defensively, at least against the big teams.
So far only City and Man United have found consistent ways to win, but the rest of us are struggling to break down the stubborn teams who have learned to park the bus effectively and grab a point.

As Mourinho would say, "there is only one team who came to play football, to win." We are perhaps learning to do something similar when we feel we might need to be a little more pragmatic against the biggest teams.

I think both Liverpool and ourselves are going to have to deal with the majority of teams playing this way against us, heck Chelsea did it too us twice. In seasons past teams thought it best to get at us, press. Or felt they could attack, go toe to toe. No more, now its predominantly 10 men behind the ball at all times, play counter into the space afforded by pushed up wing backs and take a draw if necessary. I fully expect 70% of the league to play that way against us as well as Liverpool, the difference only being we have a better defence.

Klopp: "Matip and Can picked up knocks in the last game. Lovren is not in training, so he's a doubt for the weekend."

Matip and Lovren out? Who else do they even have in defence? Ox to start in CB next game?

They could remove Lovren and Matip and not replace them with anyone and their defence would still be improved.

That celebration from Klopp after Liverpool's third is one of the shittest things I've ever seen on a football pitch, second only to Timmy Atouba's stepovers.

He's starting to really grate on me now. I like coaches showing passion on the touchline but his over the top gurning and shape throwing is so cringey.

I reckon as a young man he used to enter the club pilled up to the eyeballs and upon hearing a banger would throw himself into the crowd gurning his face off. It's the only explanation I can think of. Never seen a coach behave the way he does.

That is so true. He is actually becoming detestable. And the way he laughs off any, ANY decision that goes against them despite the whole world seeing it was correct. When Poch does it chatting to Chicharito it just seems so natural and benign. A different class of person I suppose.

Yesterday he was actually looking into the camera during the game smiling and making silly grins.

For such an ugly man he really loves himself.
