I guess you ignored the paragraph in my original post where i mention Salah/Mane' and their signing of Naby Keita...
All im saying is they've gone after their targets doing business early and wanted Keita so badly that they bought him a year ahead... Now wether it works is mot the point...

They've identified all their targets and gone after them.. Thats what i like.they havent dithered, they haven't waited for other clubs to do their business first and then feed off the scraps. They havent waited for the "so called bargains".

They know what they want and are going after those players...
So what you're really admiring is how much money they have, that's why they do their business early.

The same could be said for UTD, city and to a certain extent the chavs. These clubs have the finances to do this, we don’t so we have to work smarter, we can’t afford to pay over the odds for players. It’s these clubs that driving the insane transfer fees and making it harder for everyone else

Look i said earlier that i wouldnt be in awe of what those 3 clubs do.. Liverpool is closer to us and Arsenal in buying power terms.

That’s not true, at all. We have a little over half their commercial income, would you consider Burnley close to us in terms of buying power?

Okay.. We can't compete with Liverpool for players.
Im not sure how we got Sigurdson/Eriksen/Alli who they were also linked too... We dont need to have the exact spending power..

Those players were in our range, they were probably in the range of most of th PL. Had pool offered 25-30m for Eriksen do you think we would have matched it? They blew us out the water with what they offered Mane. We can’t compete with the wages they offer and fees they are willing to pay

There's a difference to being linked/both clubs bidding and offering contracts.

Go fly a kite... How do you IGNORE their other business. This is getting utterly boring... Was Salah.Mane'. Coutinho bad business.

They were not getting CL football for a number of seasons... Their player acquisitions got them there. But lets all ignore that.

Oh my god. They bought VVD. You came in praising VVD and them buying and dealing with their issues. We've and I've said that alone is not that impressive.

Yes Salah and Mane and Firmino have been successes, no one is doubting that but that wasn't the question.

I still don't get why you're seemingly so quick to praise their business. Are you doing it cause you think it's better than ours? Or cause you think it's the best or what? Cause every team in the top 6 (maybe bar Arsenal) has made some good business decisions and strengthened. It's not really anything special so I really don't understand why you're seemingly pointing this one out so much.

Yes they got finally got CL football again. So did we. Two years in a row. Chelsea got back in. Man Utd got back in. Your point is?

Sanchez and Ozil have been offered contracts in the region of 250-300kpw, it dwarfs what we pay.
Van Dyke has gone to Liverpool because they're paying him £180kpw, and he's costing them £75m.
Where are you're getting this idea that we're close to these clubs in 'buying power' terms?

My point is they've done some great business.. And nowhere have i mentioned that we haven't. Not to you personally...but for the umpteenth time i like their current approach... Doing business early. Not waiting for other teams to also come in for those players.

Holy shit. My mom came into my room to bring me a plate of chicken nuggets and I literally screamed at her and hit the plate of chicken nuggets out of her hand. She started yelling and swearing at me and I slammed the door on her. I'm so distressed right now I don't know what to do. I didn't mean to do that to my mom but I'm literally in shock from the Nike website tonight. I feel like I'm going to explode. Why the fucking fuck is a Barca shirt with his name on it for sale? This can't be happening. I'm having a fucking breakdown. I don't want to believe the front office is so daft. I want a future to believe in. I want Coutinho to be Captinho and fix this broken midfield. I cannot fucking deal with this right now. It wasn't supposed to be like this, I thought he was gonna lead us to Kiev???? This is so fucked.

Them selling Coutinho in january can easily derail their season.

Even if they buy another creative offensive player, (even though i doubt it after the money payed for VVD), he will most likely not be as good as Coutinho for them.

They've obviously been planning for this, that's why they got the VVD announcement out nice and early as damage limitation from a fan backlash

Also probs why they've been linked to every **** on the planet in the last few days

They gonna be in for a surprise if they believe the VVD transfer will hinder a fan backlash. Gonna be a riot if they sell him now, really hope this is true

edit from RAWK regarding VVD as a big money replacement signing:
They can take Virgil and shove him up their ass.
We have been made to look like Barcelona's bitches if we sell him in January.
What is worse, the fee will most likely be a complete embarrassment as well.

Shocking if true.
