Haven't drank it for about 15 years...my beer of choice atm is
Estrella Damm, lovely stuff.
I only drink lager when out on the lash, if I want to actually enjoy my beer pretty much anything else is better. Can't beat a nice hoppy microbrew IPA (I'll get my lumberjack coat and hipster beard now).

This is the kind of thing I was referring to last week. De Ligt on his way to Barcelona - not unexpected and a perfectly good move for him. He had his pick of just about every team in Europe and he’s followed in the footsteps of Ajax’s greatest ever player in Cruyff, and his current teammate De Jong in going to Barca. Fair enough.

For some reason Sky’s article (below) throws in a paragraph saying that Liverpool didn’t want him anyway, as if they need to reassure Liverpool fans that the player would have been on the next plane to Anfield had they really wanted him. It mentioned he had been linked to Utd too, but they’ve not felt the need to address that any further in the article. It’s like every other article on football is written by some 13 year-old on Merseyside!

I believe Liverpool were in the market for another defender, but then Lovren got on the blower to Klopp and reminded him he's the best centre back in the world.

I seriously wonder what ESPN's sports editor thinks of the fun that's been made of that article. Just laugh it off or consider it damaging to their reputation? I'd go with the latter.

"No such thing as bad publicity" and all that. It's presumably gone down as a great bit of click-bait, which seems to be the principle function of these social media accounts nowadays.

Soccer is a more than correct term, being an abbreviation of the word 'Association' from the sport's original name, Association Football.

It's also a term used almost exclusively by Americans, who, despite their burgeoning enthusiasm for the beautiful game, are still pretty annoying.
